Waldo Library to be Open 24 Hours a Day


Good news before Finals Week! Western Student Association (WSA) and University Libraries are partnering to open Waldo Library 24 hours a day, beginning 8 a.m., Wednesday, April 20 through midnight, Thursday, April 28.

With WSA’s financial support, Waldo Library will be open 24 hours during the crucial busy period before and during Finals Week. The Circulation Desk service will be available until 3 a.m. only. The self-service checkout kiosk is always available.

As a safety precaution during this 8 day, 24-hours a day period, a WMU Bronco NetID card is required to swipe in at the Waldo Library front door to enter from 11 p.m. till 8 a.m. each day.

University Libraries is excited to partner with the WSA in this pilot project focused toward student success. This pilot will be evaluated for future planning purposes.

There are also extended hours at the Swain Education Library in Sangren Hall: Monday through Wednesday, April 25 - 27, 9 a.m. to midnight
